About the Position:
In seeking to expand its elite Taxable Fixed Income and Equity Sales Group, M.R. Beal & Company is seeking seasoned, highly energetic and motivated individual(s) who will be responsible for marketing taxable fixed income and equity products to qualified institutional investors.  Products include, but are not limited to: All equity products, Corporate Debt, Private Placements and all Money Market Instruments.  The position(s) is/are located in New York City and Chicago.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
●  Keeping abreast, in real-time, of the availability of marketplace positions.
●  Quantifying fair market values within sectors and identifying opportunities based upon client      
     needs.
●  Identifying securities that represent relative value within a sector.
●  Conducting effective research using tools such as Bloomberg.
●  Demonstrating superior communication skills.
●  Exhibiting hands on professionalism and the ability to work as a team member and without constant
     supervision.

Compensation and Benefits:
●  Commission based with generous benefits

Qualifications:
●  College degree in Finance, Economics and/or Engineering from an accredited educational institution.
●  At least 5 years prior experience selling fixed income products. 
●  The successful candidate will have pre-existing proven relationships with qualified institutional
     investors which typically purchase taxable fixed income products. 
●  Series 7 and 63 FINRA licenses.
●  Ability to prepare, read and comprehend complex financial documents and analyses.
●  Superior verbal communication and negotiating skills.
●  Expert in Bloomberg and other sales programs.

The candidate will assist in preparation of presentations and proposals, create debt profiles on municipal issuers, and provide financial analyses in Excel and DBC Finance. This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and previous experience working as an investment banking analyst.   Excellent quantitative and communication skills are essential.
